Camping with a Cat: Tino's First 1,000 Miles

We were warned that cats and RVs don't mix. Tino, for the most part, has proven the doubters wrong — with a few dramatic exceptions.

The litter box lives in the shower stall during travel (sealed, vented, genius). A small rug keeps him from sliding on turns, which he still complains about.

Harness training took three weeks of indoor practice and a lot of treats. He now walks on leash about as confidently as a cat can, which is to say: on his terms, in his own time.

Biggest surprise? He loves the dashboard. He watches the world go by like a tiny, furry co-pilot. We've created a monster.
