Five Things We've Already Learned Renovating a Vintage RV

One: everything takes three times as long as the YouTube video suggests. Especially when the YouTube video is filmed in a climate-controlled garage and you are not.

Two: label your screws. We have a small jar of mystery fasteners that belong to... somewhere. Probably important.

Three: the vintage RV community is incredibly generous. Forums and Facebook groups have saved us more than once.

Four: a 1999 Lazy Daze is built like a tank, which means the hard parts are worth doing right. Don't cheap out on the structural stuff.

Five: take before photos of everything. You'll want them, and you'll forget.
